OUR BOOKING POLICIES

Please read the following policies and pre-appointment guidelines listed below prior to making your appointments

How Do I Secure my Appointment Slot?

If you book online,credit card on file will be required to secure your appointment time. The card on file will be charged 50% of the booked service, ONLY IF the client fails to comply with MJP Beauty's cancellation/late/no-show policies listed below.

If you book directly through me, a 50% nonrefundable deposit will be required to secure your spot. If you fail to meet the  cancellation policies, the 50% deposit will be forfeited. 

​

REFUNDS

I do not offer refunds as clients pay for my time and products which essentially cannot be "returned". 

​

However, customer satisfaction lies in my priorities and will make sure to work something out. 

​

Furthermore, if you are unhappy with a service, please let Micah know so you can address your concerns and in hopes to work out a solution together. 

CANCELLATION POLICY
RESCHEDULING POLICY
LATE POLICY POLICY
NO-SHOW POLICY

Cancellation Policy: MJP Beauty requires a 48 hours (2 days) notice to reschedule/cancel an appointment. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee charged to your card on file to compensate for the time that was secured for you.

Late Policy: A 10-minute grace period will be given to those running late. If you are MORE THAN 10 MINUTES LATE, and have not properly communicated with Micah, your appointment will be cancelled and will result in the same cancellation fee charge state above. I understand that last minute emergencies occur. In that event, please be sure to communicate with Micah so you two can work something out in a timely and effective manner.

No-Show Policy: NO SHOWS ARE NOT TOLERATED AT MJP BEAUTY. This will result in an automatic cancellation fee charge to your credit card on file.

I am a new client and have booked my appointment, what now?

(1) Once your appointment request has been reviewed and accepted, you should receive a confirmation e-mail that contains all of your appointment information and details. 

(2) Three days before your appointment, a confirmation request text will be sent to you to confirm your presence. This allows Micah to know that you will 100% attend your appointment. 

(3) Prior to your appointment, make sure to familiarize yourself of the pre-appointment guidelines listed down below that you should follow in order to prepare for the appointment

E-transfer (must be received prior to leaving the studio)

Payments must be paid in full upon completion of the service.

Pre-Appointment Guidelines

Once your appointment is booked and confirmed, here are a few guidelines to follow in order to prepare for your upcoming lash and/or brow appointment!

LASH LIFT SERVICES

  • Do not come in with any makeup, especially eye-makeup. This includes mascara, concealer, foundation, eyeliner, or eyeshadow. 

  • Arrive with uncurled, freshly cleaned lashes

ADDITIONAL INFO

  • please read the instructions given in the e-mail after confirming you appointment - this email will have all the information you will need regarding the studio address and parking instructions

BROW SERVICES

  • Arrive with clean brows - absolutely no makeup or any other products on/around the brows. Moisturizer is okay and recommended!! 

  • For Brow Lamination, avoid trimming your brows at least 3 weeks prior to your appointment - we want to work with the most hair as possible for best results! 

  • Inform Micah if you are currently using any products such as Retinoids, Acne medications, any other skin products containing Vitamin A, or any other skin-thinning treatments. It is best to stop the usage of these products at least 2-3 weeks prior to your brow appointment.
